A BILL to amend article nine, chapter sixty-four of the
code of West Virginia, one thousand nine hundred
thirty-one, as amended, by adding thereto a new
section, designated section nineteen, relating to
authorizing the board of examiners of registered
professional nurses to promulgate a legislative
rule relating to policies and criteria for the
evaluation and accreditation of colleges,
departments or schools of nursing.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That article nine, chapter sixty-four of the code of
West Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as
amended, be amended by adding thereto a new section,
designated section nineteen, to read as follows:
ARTICLE 9. AUTHORIZATION FOR MISCELLANEOUS AGENCIES AND
BOARDS TO PROMULGATE LEGISLATIVE RULES.
§64-9-19. Board of examiners of registered professional
nurses
.
The legislative rule filed in the state register on
the fifth day of August, one thousand nine hundred ninety-nine, under the authority of section four, article
seven, chapter thirty, of this code, modified by the
board of examiners of registered professional nurses
to
meet the objections of the legislative rule-making review
committee and refiled in the state register on the first
day of November, one thousand nine hundred ninety-nine,
relating to the board of examiners of registered
professional nurses
(policies and criteria for the
evaluation and accreditation of colleges, departments or
schools of nursing
, 19 CSR 1), is authorized.
NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to authorize the
Board of Examiners of Registered Professional Nurses
to
promulgate a legislative rule relating to Policies And
Criteria For The Evaluation And Accreditation Of
Colleges, Departments Or Schools Of Nursing
.
